- On the Canadian side the ride/walk will start at the St. Davids Lions Park on York St. heading towards Queenston and going north to the Shaw Festival in NOTL.
- Return to St. Davids for a BBQ provided by the Lions Club
- The ride will start at 10:00 a.m., wave 1., 10:15 wave 2 and 10:30 for wave 3.
- All participants will be required to register on the District Events site
- Cost for the BBQ is CDN. $10.00, which you can pay on line
- On the NY side participants will start somewhere in Lewiston going to the Falls and return
- Given all of the procedures for border crossing we felt it made more sense to separate the events this year
- Those clubs who wish to organize their own event are welcome to do so.
- No cost for food on registration for these clubs
We are seeking volunteers to assist in the event and cyclists/walkers.
Our goal is to raise $60,000 USD, which will be tripled by the Gates Foundation. We will be using the raise.rotary.org fundraising platform again this year. A page has been set up. Google: https://raise.rotary.org/Frank-Adamson/challenge1 and donate directly or tab onto Team Members to set your own page. Many of you did this last year.
So, we are asking that each Club to find a cyclist or two and register. We can accommodate 100 cyclists.
Even if you register through the donation link, please register on one of the following depending on which side of the river you will be riding or running an event:
If you have any questions, recommendations or suggestions please let me know.
