The Rotary Club of St. Catharines Lakeshore celebrated 38 years at our last meeting in June.Chartered in June 1986 by our sponsor, the Rotary Club of St. Catharines, the Club membership still includes four Charter members: Bruce Timms, Dr. Emilio Raimondo and Bob Miller (along with Doug Weeks who was not present at the meeting).
The bell rung to call each meeting to order has the date of September 17, 1986, engraved on it as our actual first official meeting.
This bell was donated by our sister club, the Rotary Club of St. Catharines South.
