Here are some pictures from the citizenship ceremony hosted by the Rotary Club of St. Catharines. There were fourteen candidates, from seven different countries, with the youngest in grade 1. Rotary St. Catharines put on a lunch for all candidates, their families, and all other attendees. It was a moving ceremony, something we missed out on during the recent pandemic. I am very glad I attended the celebration. With July being Rotary's transition month, this ceremony is akin to the ceremony being held by many a Rotary club. Instead of moving from club President to the next, these candidates moved from one citizenship to being Canadian.
