Dear Rotary Club of Simcoe,On behalf of everyone at ShelterBox Canada, I extend a heartfelt thanks for choosing ShelterBox Canada to honor the legacy of Bob and Joyce Perks.
Through the Perks’ Memorial Matching Campaign, $69,529 was donated to ShelterBox Canada from Rotary Clubs across the country. When combined with the incredibly generous $45,000 legacy gift, the campaign has raised $114,529 which is enough to provide shelter and vital supplies to over 1,100 people!
As more people are displaced than ever before, the need for ShelterBox grows by the day. Your support of this campaign has ensured that ShelterBox Canada can increase our reach and provide more people with essential shelter and humanitarian aid, providing the foundations for life after disaster.
This campaign has been a beautiful example of the incredible good ShelterBox and Rotary do together in the world. Nearly 40 clubs across the country were inspired by Bob and Joyce and heeded the call to cement their incredible legacy.
