The Stamford Collegiate Interact Club is putting its best foot forward by bringing back a meaningful initiative that hasn’t been seen in nearly a decade. In partnership with Soles4Souls, the club has officially relaunched its community-wide shoe drive—reviving a project last held in 2016.
This initiative invites students, families, and community members to donate new or gently used shoes, helping provide essential footwear to individuals in need around the world.
From supporting children’s access to education to helping adults secure employment, a simple pair of shoes can make a powerful difference.
To add a fun and competitive twist, students at Stamford Collegiate will also have the chance to win gift card prizes for bringing in the most shoes.
The friendly competition is designed to boost participation while recognizing the efforts of students who go above and beyond to support the cause.
The Stamford Collegiate Interact Club, sponsored by the Rotary Club of Niagara Falls Sunrise, is proud to lead this effort as part of its ongoing commitment to service above self.
By reintroducing the shoe drive, members are not only addressing global needs but also promoting sustainability by keeping wearable items out of landfills.
Donations can be dropped off at Stamford Collegiate (5775 Drummond Rd, Niagara Falls, ON L2G 1T5) now through Friday, April 9, 2026.
All types and sizes of shoes are welcome, as long as they are in wearable condition.
This is a simple and impactful way for the community to come together and support a global cause—one pair of shoes at a time.
