Did you know Rotary Clubs that have an annual community event, FUNdraiser, or service project recruit more members each year and retain seasoned members? The same is true for Clubs that are innovative, inspiring, and engaging! How about joining forces with another community organization like the Lions, Kiwanis, Chamber of Commerce, or in the case of the above photo, with young professionals and the United Way, in your area? An entertaining social, Jingle on the Rocks, is an event hosted by the Northern Chautauqua Young Professionals (NCYP), United Way of Northern Chautauqua County, and the Rotary Club of Dunkirk-Fredonia. Attendees receive discounted admission when they bring a new unwrapped toy for the Marine Corps Reserve – Toys for Tots program. Dozens of community members attend each year, and children in need receive a holiday gift.
