Past Rotary District 7090 Governor Charlotte Herlong and her son, Michael, were honored with the Great Futures Award at the Annual Dinner of the Boys & Girls Club of Northern Chautauqua County. Located in Dunkirk, the Club proudly serves children and families throughout Northern Chautauqua County through its impactful After-School and Summer Programs.The Boys & Girls Club Board of Directors extended heartfelt appreciation to Charlotte and Michael for their extraordinary generosity, steadfast support, and longtime commitment to the youth of their community. Through countless sponsorships, donations, floral arrangements, and ongoing acts of kindness provided by their business, Fresh & Fancy Floral Design Studio, they have helped ensure Club members continue to enjoy a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment where Great Futures are truly built.
Charlotte became a Rotarian in February 1993 and has faithfully served in numerous leadership roles, including as Rotary District 7090 Centennial Governor during the 2004–2005 Rotary year. Her dedication to “Service Above Self” continues to inspire others, as she tirelessly impacts her community and leaves a lasting mark on throughout the Dunkirk-Fredonia community.
