The Rotary Club of Buffalo put some muscle and smiles into the annual Sunshine Day at Cradle Beach on July 11.Chef Mike Karet hosted a BBQ and served up burgers & dogs for Rotary volunteers – members, family and staff.
Our volunteers helped hand out various healthy snacks meticulously shopped for by our Nora Eberl and On Rattanaphasouk.
Our crew assisted with games and pony rides to about 100 kids and their mentors.
Cradle Beach even brought out a 50-year-old donkey & goats (who never stopped eating grass).
On top of all the festivities, the Rotary Club of Buffalo donated a check for $2500 to Cradle Beach.
Thanks to more than a dozen Rotary volunteers, including Mike Karet and family, who helped organize the event!
We have looked forward to supporting Sunshine Day at Cradle Beach for years.
