The event was a remarkable success, bringing our community together for an evening of spicy competition, savory chili, and, most importantly, raising funds for scholarships and grants for the Western New York community and those globally we support. We are excited to announce that we raised > $5,000.

Unveiling the Chili Champions:This year, we had the privilege of hosting eight talented chefs who brought their A-game to the competition. The judges had a tough time making their decision, but ultimately, City Fare Cafe emerged as the grand champion. What's even more remarkable is that Melissa Conroy chose to generously donate their winnings back to the Rotary Club of The BNMC (as did the Coco chef)- a heartfelt act of generosity that truly embodies the spirit of giving back to our community, The City of Good Neighbors.

All in Good Fun:
More than 80 guests joined us for a day filled with live music, friendly fellowship, mouthwatering chili, and of course, ice-cold beer to wash it all down. It was an atmosphere of sheer enjoyment as friends and neighbors gathered to celebrate our shared love for chili and the warmth of community.
Rotarians in Full Force:
We were immensely proud to see our local Rotarians out in full support of the event. Even our District Governor joined the festivities, rocking out and savoring the delicious chili. Their presence and support emphasized the power of our community coming together to make a difference.
Service Above Self:
A special shout-out goes to the heroes behind the scenes – Terri Campbell, Laurie Krajna, and Andrea Scibetta – who put in tireless efforts to make the 5th Annual Chili Cook-Off a roaring success. Their dedication and hard work exemplify the Rotary motto, "Service Above Self," and we couldn't be more grateful for their commitment to our community.
Raising Funds for Scholarships and Grants:
This year, we are excited to announce that we raised a remarkable amount of funds, approximately $5,600, final totals are still being tallied. These funds will go towards scholarships and grants for the WNY community and Global Partnerships, supporting educational endeavors and projects that benefit our neighbors here at home and those around the world.
We are truly proud of what we achieved together, and it's a testament to the strength of our community when we come together for a common cause. Our 5th Annual Chili Cook-Off was a day of fun, flavors, and generosity, and we couldn't have done it without all of you.
Thank you for your support and dedication to making our community a better place. We look forward to more opportunities to come together and create positive change.
