Club President Basics
From Jan 28, 2026 to March 25, 2026 all President Elects are required to do two (2) of the on-line training sessions through RI’s “Learning Center” titled “Club President Essentials: Part 1 and 2”.   Each course is expected to be a 4 hr 15 min exercise consisting of the following plan titles:

  • Creating a Club Culture of Belonging

  • Preventing & Addressing Harassment

  • Protecting Personal Data

  • Rotary’s Change Model

  • Protecting Youth Program Participants 2025-6

The Learning Center is a vast number of information courses and resources that provide updated and complete understanding of Rotary. To find these two courses the following is a step-by-step map into the them:
 
  1. Sign into My Rotary:   https://my.rotary.org/en/   For newbies the following will show you how set an account into My Rotary.  (The Username and Password is not as in Clubrunner! They must be set separately) …. How to access My Rotary
  2. Select the “Learning Center” box to enter
  3. Select the course “Club President Basics” by:
    1. Select “View Club Leadership Courses
    2. Select “Club President Essentials” (there are two….1&2)
  4. Hints:
    1. Follow the order the order of courses on the left from top to bottom.
    2. You can leave the courses at any time, but try to complete a single course before doing so.
    3. When all courses are complete; go to top right and download your certificate and email a copy to dberry@cogeco.ca
