AS YOU HAVE ALL HEARD BY NOW - RI PRESIDENT JENNIFER JONES IS COMING TO THE GREATER TORONTO AREA.  There are several events you can participate in on July 5, 2022 in conjunction with her visit.  Here is a description.  Please click on REGISTER HERE in the menu left to register and get additional details. 

Great Lakes Watershed Clean-Up - Stoney Creek Ontario.  Open to any interested Rotarians and their friends and family from District 7090 and 7080. 9:30 am to 11:30 am Tuesday July 5, 2022.  The address is 77 King St W, Stoney Creek, ON L8G 5E5 – the nearest intersection is King St. W and Centennial Parkway N, about five minutes south of the QEW, east of the Red Hill Valley Parkway.

Imagining Rotary with Bryn and Randy Styles at The George Hamilton Restaurant and Brewery, Hamilton Ontario - 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm (ish) 

We are inviting Rotarians to join us for a casual pint and pub lunch at The George Hamilton.  Owned by a fellow Rotarian Mike Peters, this restaurant is a perfect gathering place to talk about the year ahead.  We will have with us Governor Lisa Bishop as well as special guests Bryn and Randy Styles.  Bryn has been a member of the Board of Directors of Rotary International in 2012-2014.  Over this past year, he has been an Aide to our Rotary International President Shekhar Mehta.  

Rotary Food Packing with Kids Against Hunger - Burlington Ontario - 12:00 to 2:00 pm (set up starting 10:00 am) 

You are invited to participate in a Food Packing Event - Rotary working in partnership with Kids Against Hunger Canada.  The goal is to pack 117,000 highly nutritious, life saving meal packs in recognition of Rotary's 117th Birthday.  Your Club Presidents have been asked if they want to contribute money to help us buy meals (50 cents a meal). 

The location is GEM Limousine at 4325 Harvester Road, Unit 18C, Burlington Ontario. 

There are also events happening in Toronto.  These events will be attended by Rotary International President Jennifer Jones.  You need to go the Rotary 7070 Website to register.  For each event, you need to scroll down past the question to the registration page.

Time: 2 shifts: 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm, and then 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm
