Online Workshop - Reimagining Volunteerism

A resilient and robust voluntary sector is an important part of healthy communities in Upstate New York and the Hamilton/Niagara area of Ontario. Many local organizations rise to meet service demands through a dynamic and talented volunteer workforce. These people can be found on the frontline to the board table – plus the issues seem to be constantly changing. Are there concerns or opportunities? If so we can act to discuss as partners. This session will feature a binational panel of thought leaders who will have a conversation with us on the state of the voluntary sector today: issues, trends, and responses needed. These perspectives will set the stage for a round table discussion on possible actions Rotarians and others can take in order to sustain a vibrant and healthy volunteer sector.
