Hearts for Sully. The Rotary Club of Williamsville is pleased to announce a generous donation to Variety—The Children’s Charity of Buffalo and Western New York. This worthy cause will directly benefit children in our local community, with a particular focus on supporting the 2026 Celebrity Child, Sully Mettille. Sully, a bright and inspiring young individual, has captured the hearts of many with his remarkable courage and determination. The funds from this donation will be instrumental in providing the resources and opportunities he needs to thrive. The Rotary Club of Williamsville is committed to making a positive impact in our community and dedicates this contribution to fostering a brighter future for children like Sully.
Power of Community and Global Solidarity. We invited Sharon Green, co-founder and Public Relations Director, who remotely manages the Global African Village, to address our Rotary Club meeting. Her remarkable humanitarian efforts on behalf of the Global African Village left a lasting impression on us, prompting our decision to make a donation in support of her initiatives. Sharon spoke passionately about the transformative impact of the Global African Village, sharing stories of hope and resilience from the communities they serve. As she concluded her presentation, the room erupted in applause, a testament to the admiration and respect she had garnered. Members of the Rotary Club were inspired not only by the strides Sharon and her team were making but also by the tangible change that was being implemented on the ground.
Supporting Lion’s work for the blind, sight and hearing-impaired. We are proud to support the 31st Annual Pancake Breakfast, hosted by the Amherst County Lions Club, on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at Christ United Church. This beloved event unites community members for a morning filled with delightful food, laughter, and camaraderie. We invite fellow Rotary Clubs to join us in this noble cause and to partake in the warmth and generosity that exemplify our community spirit.
