This month the Westfield-Mayville Rotary Club members got to enjoy the fruits of their labors.Early in the month, Andrew Webster, Westfield Recreation Director, gave an update on the community pool renovation project and gave members a tour of the upgraded facility.
Webster thanked the club for their financial gift of support. The W-M Club has been a supporter of this project for nearly 60 years!
Later in the month, the Club went to the Mayville Library and viewed the 67 books that were purchased through a matching club-district grant totaling $1000. Melissa Bartok welcomed and thanked Grant's Chair, Janese Berkhouse for the donation. Due to the library's ability to buy at a special rate, Melissa was able to turn $1000 into $1,674.09 in a total purchase! The books covered many topics for both young readers and adults. This is the 4th library that the club has provided many books including: Ripley, Brocton, and Sherman libraries.
