Waterdown Rotarians treated more than 80 seniors to dinner, at their annual Seniors' Corn Roast on Aug. 24.The meal featured hotdogs, salads, fresh corn, desserts, and beverages.
There were also prize draws, some Golden Oldies tunes provided by Bob Allen, and plenty of time for guests to socialize with friends, old and new.
The annual end of summer events is free for all seniors in the community, thanks to the efforts of club volunteers (who also donated some great prizes) and local sponsors, including Kitching, Steepe & Ludwig Funeral Home and Freshco Waterdown.
