Back in 2019, Jackie Van Lankveld, from the Rotary Club of St. Catharines, started a global grant for the building of a new school with the support of The Rotary Club of Buffalo. The school was completed in 2021 for orphaned and vulnerable children in Bugiri, near Entebbe in Uganda. Jackie went back to visit the school this past April and the director made a video while she was there. The link for the video is below and there is a picture of Jackie with the kids. Jackie also brought a Rotary plaque with her to hang at the school.
