Rotarians David & Julie Grabb embody the motto of service above self.  On Tuesday, Nov 7th,  they donated products to the Westview Centre 4 Women which were determined not to be sellable as “new”.  This trip had a retail value of greater than $5,000, and historically, they are dropping off 2 to 3 times a year.
The products are typically children’s toys and crafts.  Westview uses the items for such occasions as birthdays, Christmas, or for general activities.  Many of their clients have absolutely nothing; the donated items bring such happiness into the lives of these women and their families.

Paraphrasing the Westview Centre 4 Women website:
I.            Westview is a weekly resource centre, where women of all walks of life are welcomed into a safe, open, and affirming environment.  They accept each other just the way they are and are encouraged to be themselves.
II.          The organization’s core belief is that everyone who identifies themselves as a woman deserves a safe, welcoming and dignified environment where they can feel accepted and encouraged in who they are.  Every woman has been given all that it takes to create a life of value and meaning.
