On 09 August (an absolutely perfect summer evening), the Simcoe Lawn Bowling Club hosted the Rotary Club of Norfolk Sunrise to a most enjoyable session introducing us to 'the bowls'. It proved to be a wonderful evening of Club fellowship, learning something new and seeing the benefits in a great social recreation activity; perfect for the balmy summer months.

We had 23 Sunrisers & friends enjoy the event. They wish to thank the volunteers from the Simcoe Lawn Bowling Club who came out to help us learn their sport and show us some warm, lawn-bowling hospitality - including Darlene Depaepe (Club President), Kevin Barry (Instructor & Incoming Club President), George Depaepe, Lorne Green, Debbie Green, Helen Ford and Steve Brightman.
