July is always a busy month for the Rotary Club of Niagara-on-the-Lake—not only with changeover, but also with our annual July 1st BBQ Bash in Simcoe Park in Old Town Niagara-on-the-Lake. Despite the extreme heat, large crowds came out to enjoy our BBQ offerings, fun family entertainment and, of course, the free cake which is always a favourite!We also have a little bragging to do about our current co-president, Cindy Grant, who was named NOTL's Senior of the Year in recognition of her tireless work—not only with Rotary, but also as a passionate champion for senior housing in Niagara. Cindy’s years of service include helping establish our local food bank and so much more. We are incredibly proud of her. She truly embodies Rotary’s motto: Service Above Self.
Meanwhile, committee work for our annual Holiday House Tour is ramping up, and we are excited to showcase the six beautifully chosen homes to the thousands of visitors who will join us for this much-loved holiday event. Mark your calendars: December 4th and 5th!
