CELEBRATING 100

The Rotary Club of Niagara Falls, New York celebrated its 100th year anniversary of continuous service to the community and to the world.  The dinner event was well attended by many Rotarians of District 7090, good friend PDG Nick Constantino from District 7210 (Goshen, NY) and many well-wishers from the City of Niagara Falls, NY.
Three Paul Harris Fellows were recognized, including Niagara Falls, NY Mayor, the honorable Paul A. Dyster, Rotarian Michael Cushman and Rotarian David Costanzo, with the requested help of PDG Karen Oakes.  Two Community Leadership awards were presented by Rotarian Ron Anderluh to Sister Beth Brosner and Rotarian Don King. The club inducted three new members, Robert "Bob" Pascoal, Bridgette Myles and Alysia Welch-Chester.  The ceremony was conducted by the IPDG Membership chairman, Kevin Crosby and DGE Reg Madison.

In addition, Youth Exchange Student with the Rotary Club of Niagara-on-the-Lake Glauser from Switzerland was honored with a Friendship Award. Ms. Glauser represented our Area 9 clubs at the bike-a-thon to eradicate polio at our district conference last October.  We profoundly give our heartfelt appreciation and thank to PDG Rick Sterne for bringing Livia Glauser to the event.
