SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENT IS SPEAKER
Lauren Isherwood, a District 7090 scholarship recipient spoke for a few minutes at Rotary Club of Lockport's December 20th meeting. She attends John Carroll University in Cleveland, Ohio. Lauren spent time in Guatemala as part of Campus Ministry Immersion Experience Program, doing volunteer work including some time with children who help their families by retrieving marketable material from the garbage dump...Lauren updated the Club on her experience trying to make a difference in the lives of those less fortunate - an eye opening experience. Lauren is off to study in London for 4 months.
