Once again, this year the Lincoln Rotary participated in the Coldest Night of the Year - West Niagara on February 28.
The Coldest Night of the Year is a family-friendly fundraising walk in support of local charities serving people experiencing hurt, hunger and homelessness.
The walk was a great success raising over $91,000 in West Niagara. Lincoln Rotary’s team raised $4970.
We were joined by the Grimsby Rotary club who volunteered at registration and along the walk route.
These walks take place across Canada. There were a total of 96 Rotary teams participating across Canada with 650 walkers and raising a total of $260,637.
Our Lincoln Rotary team ranked 13th of the 96 teams in total amount of monies raised by Rotary Clubs across Canada. Go team!
