This morning October 24, we raised the World Polio Day Flag at townhall in the Town of Lincoln, Ontario.World Polio Day is observed annually on October 24.
It is a global event aimed at raising awareness about Polio a crippling and potentially fatal infection.
World Polio Day is organized by Rotary International in collaboration with other global health organizations.
99.9 % of the world is Polio free.
Polio eradication will be one of history's greatest achievements.
