On January 11, Bob Marinucci spoke to the Proudly BiNational Lewiston/NOTL Rotary Club about The Kevin Guest House.Named after 13 year old Kevin Garvey, who traveled to Buffalo in 1972 to seek treatment for Leukemia, the Kevin Guest House was the first Independent Healthcare Hospitality House, predating and serving as the model for the Ronald McDonald House and 600+ other Houses , providing comfortable and supportive accommodation and meals for parents and families of sick children. Since opening it has served families not only from Western New York, but also from 49 States, Canada and 11 other countries.
Why not call Kevin House and ask them to speak at your Rotary Club, or better yet, volunteer to help with Spring and Fall cleaning projects, preparing and/or serving a meal for the guests, hosting a Wish List drive, or hosting a fundraising event?
