This month we enjoyed a presentation by Pat Castiglia about the Gift of Life program: how it was formed and grew from a local movement into a mission of Rotary International. Now the implementation of heart surgery services is changing from bringing the children to the US for operations, into building surgical centers that are closer to those in need.
The club presented a donation and also ratified making that an annual giving budget item.
Also, the club received recognition for our participation and sponsorship of Toys for Tots.
