On Saturday, July 26th the Rotary Club of Kenmore helped our friends at the Niagara Greenway Commission by manning the beer tent for the 19th Annual Paddles Up Niagara event.Paddles Up Niagara is a fun filled day of celebrating the beautiful and mighty Niagara River!
It is a safe and family friendly event where hundreds of paddlers come together to glide across the river with the assistance of safety paddlers the NYS Park Police.
There are many different sessions to join, including guided Eco Tours, an Eco Hike, Learn to Kayak and new this year is a Fishing Clinic, no equipment needed or permit, simply sign up and show up!
Getting off the water, we have many exhibitors and vendors focused on environmental issues, food and drinks, and the River Lea Historical Museum is open for participants!
Fun was had by all!
