What’s Up Kenmore? -Fellowship & Fundraising
Join us on Friday, December 1st for our Inaugural Meat Raffle at the Kenmore Knights of Columbus Hall (1530 Kenmore Ave, Buffalo, NY 14216). **Doors Open at 6pm—First Round at 7pm** The proceeds are to benefit the Kenmore-Town of Tonawanda UFSD and Aqua Lane Park. This is a 21 & Up Event. Tickets are $10.00 pre-sale or $12.00 at the door. If you would like to reserve a table, it is $90.00 for a table with 10 guests. Draft beer, wine and pop will be included. Please bring no outside drinks. Bring your own snacks and plenty of singles! There will also be a Basket raffle - $10/sheet or $25 for 3 sheets. Over the last few weeks, the Rotary Club of Kenmore has been super busy holding fundraising and social events!
On September 23rd, the Club held its 2nd Annual KENtoberfest! KENtoberfest is a delightful, fun-filled evening for the whole family of celebrating all things fall! This is a wonderful way to support Rotary and enjoy music, food, and community in the heart of the Village of Kenmore while having a great time! Our Club couldn’t of had such a successful event with over 500 people in attendance without the help of our amazing sponsors American DND, Vogt Sprinkler Service, Evans Bank, HMN Resources, LLC, and Kenmore Mercy Hospital. Kevin McCarthy provided the event with awesome tunes, The Cheesy Chick and Louie's Foot Long Hot Dogs provided food while Porter Farms donated pumpkins for the Kids Area! Thank you to the community and fellow Rotarians for coming out and having a blast! Year 3 here we come!
On October 14th, the Club held its semi-annual “Shred-It” event from 10:00am to 2:00pm in the rear parking lot of The Ken-Ton Elmwood Commons (formerly Phillip Sheridan School) located at 3200 Elmwood Avenue, Kenmore 14217. Volunteers were on hand to guide customers through the parking lot and unload their boxes. A suggested $10 per file box or bag donation was asked and the secure documents were shredded on-site! Thank You to the UB Rotaract Club and the students throughout the Ken-Ton Schools for their help!
