The Rotary Club of Hamilton is experiencing remarkable growth in the 2025–2026 Rotary year, welcoming 14 new members in just the first several months. This milestone reflects not only increasing interest in Rotary’s mission, but also the strength, relevance, and visibility of the Club’s service throughout Hamilton.
Membership growth is more than a number — it is a clear indicator that the community recognizes the impact of Rotary’s work. From literacy initiatives and youth leadership development to holiday assistance programs and international humanitarian efforts, the Club continues to demonstrate that service above self remains both meaningful and necessary.
A Growing Network of Leaders
The addition of 14 new members represents a broad cross-section of professionals, entrepreneurs, and emerging leaders who are eager to contribute their time, talent, and expertise. This diversity strengthens the Club’s ability to:
Expand community outreach
Increase volunteer capacity for hands-on initiatives
Enhance fundraising and partnership opportunities
Foster mentorship between established Rotarians and younger professionals
This growth also signals strong engagement within the business and civic community. Word of mouth, visible service projects, and dynamic Rotary @ Noon meetings continue to attract individuals who are seeking purposeful involvement and authentic connection.
Expanding Our Reach in Hamilton
As membership grows, so too does Rotary’s footprint across the city. More members mean:
Greater capacity to support literacy and youth programs
Stronger committees and leadership development
Increased presence at community events
Enhanced ability to steward long-standing initiatives while exploring new opportunities
The Club’s expanding roster reinforces its role as one of Hamilton’s longstanding service institutions — rooted in tradition, yet forward-looking in vision. The Original Rotary Club of Hamilton founded in 1913 is strong and engaged!
Building on Momentum
Sustained membership growth requires intentional engagement, welcoming fellowship, and meaningful opportunities to serve. With 14 new members already welcomed this Rotary year, the Club is well-positioned to continue building momentum.
The energy within the Club is evident. Meetings are vibrant. Committees are active. Service opportunities are plentiful. The message is clear: Rotary in Hamilton is growing — not only in numbers, but in influence and impact.
Special thank you to our Membership Committee: Cathi MacDonnell (Chair);l Laura Farr, Rajeev Khoodeeran, Al Lutchin and our dedicated Board of Directors.
As the 2025–2026 Rotary year continues, the focus remains on strengthening connections, supporting one another, and expanding service to the community we are proud to call home.
