Hamilton-After-Five recognised the outstanding leadership of Pinkie Mothibedi of Botswana by sponsoring her being named as a Paul Harris Fellow. Pinkie Mothibedi has been instrumental over many years in helping our club locate and mentor successful Peace Fellowship applicants from Botswana. Pinkie is a graduate of the Makarere University Peace Fellowship Certificate program. She is a community development expert focusing on disability issues in Botswana. In her words: “I believe in collective inclusion of all persons and … policy implementation that addresses the rights of Persons with disabilities” Pinkie’s leadership has been instrumental in the strong bond between our club and colleagues in Botswana – especially the Okavango Delta region. In her work and in her relationship with our club she truly is a person who has worked successfully in furtherance of friendly relations among peoples of the world.
