The Rotary Club of Hamburg continues to support the families of patients who live out of town and are under care in Buffalo hospitals by preparing delicious dinners for them at the Buffalo Ronald McDonald House, most recently on July 17.The club supports the endeavor regularly by purchasing the ingredients for the meals and preparing them onsite at the facility at 780 West Ferry St. in Buffalo.
Making the July dinner were Rotarians Colleen Gibbons and Eileen Hotho along with super volunteers Krista Van Wagner and Selena Peña.
Van Wagner is a CIA trained chef and former restaurant owner who heads the Culinary Department at Global Concepts Charter School and Peña attends SUNY Erie’s culinary program.
The Ronald McDonald House has provided the comforts of home to the families of hospital patients for over 40 years.
