The Rotary Club of Grand Island congratulated 5 graduating High School Students for being selected for scholarships after a competitive process. The club was the beneficiary of a bequest in 2022 which is now being turned into a plan to provide Trade Scholarships for at least the next 10 years.Taking a page from Publishers Clearing House, a group of Rotary Club Members delivered the news to our 2024 Scholarship Winners. The excitement of our honorees and their families was wonderful to see.

Traditional Scholarships: Kaleigh Lockett - $1000; Patrick Kruse - $1000
Trade Scholarships: Hailey Martinez - $1000; Lukacz Bastiliko - $750; Preston Whitfield - $750
A reception for scholarship winners and their parents will be held on June 13th at the High School. The reception is jointly sponsored by four Grand Island service clubs: The Rotary Club of Grand Island, Lion’s Club, Zonta and Kiwanis.
