District 7090’s Gift of Life project continues its efforts to provide cardiac surgery for children in underserved countries who would otherwise die from congenital heart defects.
This Rotary year we are happy to introduce three new Board members from Canadian Clubs. They are Margaret Andrews from the Lincoln Club, Carol Lipsett from the Niagara on the Lake club, and Cathy Henry from St. Catharines South. They joined chair Valerie Phillips and longtime member Dr. Pam Milroy from the Caledonia Club. Valerie succeeded founder PDG John Rydzik in 2009. Members on the U.S. are Dr. Pat Castiglia, Vice-Chair and treasurer (Hamburg club) and Dr. Tom Gerbasi (Lewiston-NOTL). We continue to need new Board members for U.S. representation. If anyone is interested in joining us, please contact Pat at ptcas34@gmail.com Membership on this Board is a great way to become involved in the district and requires attendance at only four Board Zoom meetings.
