Rotary District 7090 Supports Jamaica Project
The Board of Directors of District 7090 Gift of Life are pleased to share our recent support of a project in Jamaica. This project is also supported by Rotary international by a Global Grant to Gift of Life International. Our support is a donation of $5000 to an effort concentrated on working towards a sustainable pediatric cardiac surgical program in Jamaica.The grant effort will fund the continued training for the local cardiac team and will support three (3) catheterization visits where 20-25 children will be treated. In addition, it will also support 5-7 surgeries to be completed by the local team without the support of a visiting team.
Our donation has been made available through the generous support of individuals and District 7090 Rotary clubs. Our District contributions to Gift of Life continue to save the lives of children who could not live without surgical intervention.

We are accepting club donations for this year on a rolling basis. We hope the nine clubs that donated last year will continue to do so and that other clubs will join them in making Gift of Life an identified item in their budgets. Our goal is to have 100% of District 7090 clubs donating to this important District 7090 project. A gift of $100 or more is greatly appreciated and will allow us to continue to support efforts to provide cardiac surgery to children who would die without it.
