Rotary Club of Ellicottville Partners with Various Organizations to Raise Funds and Serve The Community
The month of September was all about partnering with various organizations to serve the community, the Alzheimer’s Association, Polio eradication and to raise funds to support its many causes.

     Early in the month, the Club partnered with the Rotary Club of Olean, Ellicottville Chamber of Commerce and Tri-county Council for the Arts to co-host the first ever Ellicottville Fine Arts and Crafts Show, selling hot dogs to raise funds for community causes and also accepting donations for the fight against Alzheimer’s and for polio eradication.
     The following weekend the Club partnered with the Ellicottville Chamber of Commerce to help set up and park cars for the annual Rock ‘n’ Roll Weekend Classic Car and Truck Show.
     On the third weekend of the month, The Ellicottville Club partnered with the Upper Allegheny Health System and the Rotary Club of Olean to host a basket auction at Holiday Valley which was a huge fundraising success.
     They partnered again with the Chamber of Commerce to sell hot dogs at the annual Ellicottville Lacrosse Tournament.
     The Club partnered again with the Olean Rotary and Alzheimer’s Association to raise funds and join in the Walk Against Alzheimer’s in Olean on September 23. Ellicottville Rotary was recognized as a top fundraiser for its efforts.
     In September, The Rotary Club of Ellicottville also supported the newly constructed Great Valley Food Pantry by helping to paint the interior as it prepares to open to the public.
     Also in September, the Rotary Club of Ellicottville, formed a relationship with the Cattaraugus Region Community Foundation to be able to receive contributions as a 501 (c) (3) organization.
     Upcoming in October, the Club will once again sell hot dogs late in the evening at the annual Ellicottville Fall Fest and will partner with St. Paul’s Lutheran Church to host the annual “Trunk and Treat” Halloween Youth Party.
