Dunnville welcomed 2025 with representation from our District Leadership!On January 9th, Assistant Governor, Frank Adamson was our guest speaker, presenting a slide show highlighting his experiences with the Wounded Warrior D-Day Bike ride.
To honour fallen veterans, the Canadian Group of 65 people biked from France, 400 km. to the battlefields of the final days of WWII.
Everyone agreed that this presentation was excellent, and put us in mind of the sacrifices, past and present of our Canadian Military.
Financial contributions from riding participants help to support veteran mental health programming.
Dunnville membership happily contributed to this very worthwhile cause.
On January 16th Dunnville was again visited by District Governor Dave Alexander, together with Assistant Governor Frank Adamson.President Brad Spencer reviewed the clubs busy schedule of events for 2025.
Governor Alexander presented us with the ‘Lighthouse Award’ recognizing the club's achievements of stated objectives.
Additionally, he highlighted the various tools available to club members and encouraged our group to utilize the wide variety of supports.
He also spoke to the tragic situation for people affected by the California Wildfires.
Dunnville agreed to join other local districts in supporting those in need with a donation.
