In January, the Rotary Club of Dundas Valley Sunrise welcomed Governor Lisa Bishop and online guests PDG Frank Adamson and Rotary Foundation Major Gift Officer Carolyn Ferguson; their online participation was largely due to the induction of Thie Convery and Frances Manias; past members of the noon club and the first members of the Rotary Satellite Club of Dundas Valley Sunrise.President Phil, Governor Lisa and membership committee member Erin Holl performed the induction ceremony.The guest speaker was Dr. Paul Clifford, retired professor at McMaster University. Paul gave an in depth look at how the US is running out of water, especially on the 
west coast and the plains, both the locations of major food producers for the US and export markets.

As well, aquifers under the plains are hundreds of feet below their normals. Thanks to his daughter Rebecca who helped put the presentation together and to David Carson for assisting and making a hybrid meeting possible for the Zoom participants.
