 Normally, in the fall of each year, we get together to celebrate the success of The Rotary Foundation and congratulate clubs for their significant contributions to TRF. Unfortunately for this year, we were not able to do that. But we can still recognize clubs, in a public way, for your tremendous efforts.For the Rotary year ended June 30, 2020, District 7090 Rotary clubs and Rotarians contributed $130,174.72 US to Polio Plus and $218,681.36 US to the Annual Fund. Well Done! Your gift to the Annual Fund helps Rotary clubs take action today to create positive change in communities at home and around the world. Your contributions help us strengthen peace efforts, provide clean water and sanitation, support education, grow local economies, save mothers and children, and fight disease. The Rotary Foundation recognizes clubs that have achieved specific levels of giving as follows: | ||
100% Foundation Giving Club: For clubs that achieve an average of $100 per capita giving and 100 percent participation, with every dues-paying member contributing at least $25 to any or all of the following during the Rotary year: Annual Fund, PolioPlus Fund, approved global grants, or Endowment Fund. Every Rotarian, Every Year Club: For clubs that achieve a minimum Annual Fund contribution of $100 per capita during the Rotary year, and every dues-paying member must personally contribute at least $25 to the Annual Fund during the year. Top Three Per Capita in Annual Fund Giving: For the three clubs in each district that give the most, per capita, to the Annual Fund. Clubs that give at least $50 per capita are eligible. At the end of every Rotary year, contributions directed to the Annual Fund-SHARE from all Rotary clubs in the district are divided between the World Fund and the District Designated Fund, or DDF. At the end of three years, your district can use the DDF to pay for Foundation, club, and district projects that your club and others in the district choose. Districts may use up to half of their DDF to fund district grants. The remaining DDF may be used for global grants or donated to PolioPlus, the Rotary Peace Centers, or another district. This amount is separate from the PolioPlus giving. End Polio Now: Awarded to clubs that annually contribute $1,500 or more to Rotary’s PolioPlus Fund. Members are encouraged to get involved in Foundation projects or programs. This can be accomplished online via My Rotary or just search for The Rotary Foundation and tap the "Give Now" box.
