IMAGINE - WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE

Imagine, a world that deserves our best where we get up each day knowing that we can make a difference.

Member Experience: Engaging members is crucial to retaining members. We need to ask members what they want to get from Rotary and give them meaningful responsibilities. Quoting incoming RI President Jennifer Jones, “It is our offer of hands-on service, personal growth, leadership development, and lifelong friendships that creates purpose and passion.” So let’s make sure we engage our members so they love their clubs and their Rotary experience.

Let’s ask these questions:  What drew you to Rotary, and why did you stay? How do you IMAGINE Rotary in 2022-23?

Our Presidents-Elect just graduated their Virtual PETS last week, and they have been sharing their “IMAGINE Rotary” goals for their clubs. So many fun, innovative, and
inspirational ideas! We heard how clubs are going to grow membership, enhance the Rotary experience by engaging families and friends when providing service in our local communities and supporting our efforts for international service.  Let’s not forget we have fun! The energy and commitment to serve clubs is commendable.

Thank-you Presidents Elect and Incoming Club Officers for stepping up and serving  in these roles.  You also shared a commitment to identify and mentor upcoming aspiring leaders to help build succession in your club leadership and district committees.

As I write this note, I am already in Houston, Texas for our Rotary International Convention.  I really look forward to joining all of you at your club and area events, as we IMAGINE  Rotary in 2022-23!
