Buffalo Sunrisers saw the holiday season as opportunities for local giving and receiving. Members re-homed 20 perennial pollinator plants from St. Paul’s Cathedral Garden in downtown Buffalo to a temporary home. Otherwise, the plants would have been destroyed because of sewer work near the Cathedral. Once again, members Dan Tirone, Jill Norton, Barbara, and Trisha Shea delivered a huge, delicious meal to Kevin Guest House, supporting the guests or family members there who are receiving treatment at the Medical Campus. BSR has been helping out at Kevin Guest House for over 10 years.
Toiletries were also collected and donated to Family Promise (https://fpwny.org/), an assistance facility for temporarily homeless families.
