ADDING UP

On April 20th, the Rotary Club of Buffalo welcomed three new corporate members Howard Rich, Vice President-Corporate Relations, Stephen Rich Innovation Center Chef, and Joseph Borgese, Project Manager from Rich Products Corporation.   Adding up, the club also added a new member in May, Dorothy Sands-Carboni.

Howard Rich is vice president of corporate relations at Rich Products. He graduated from Purdue University in 1979 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and Marketing, and a minor in Psychology.  He joined Rich Product in 1979 as a technical consultant for the company's In-Store Bakery division. He is on the board of directors for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Buffalo and Great Lakes Orthodontics, and is also an advisory board member to D'Youville College's business programs.  He is active in his church, and leads the Rich Products Ride for Roswell Team. He and his wife Lyn live in Hamburg where they enjoy photography, tennis, and cycling.
 
Stephen Rich (pictured left) is innovation center chef at Rich Products and has culinary responsibilities for all customer visits taking place at Rich's world headquarters in Buffalo, NY. He graduated from Johnson & Wales University in 2001 with a bachelors degree in Food Service Management.  He is a member of the American Culinary Federation and a former board member of the Buffalo Police Foundation. He and his wife Nora live in Amherst with their two young children.
 
Joseph Borgese is a project manager at Rich Products. He graduated from University of Buffalo with an MBA in 2007 and has been with Rich Products for four years. Prior to Rich Products, Joseph worked at M&T Bank.  He enjoys the outdoors and hunting, and is both a Sabres and Bills fan. He and his wife Lyndsey live in Getzville with their two young children.
 
Dorothy Sands-Carboni is VP and branch manager at the Elmwood Avenue KeyBank.  Dorothy has a 44-year career in banking, initially working at HSBC, then moving to First Niagara.  She serves as the treasurer for the Elmwood Kiwanis.  A native of Windsor, ON, Dorothy attended Kenmore East and currently lives in North Buffalo with her husband Bobby.  Her hobbies include reading and traveling.
