The Rotary Club of Brantford still invites Rotarians from across District 7090 to join us for the 42nd Brantford Rotary Classic Run on Sunday, June 7, 2026, or they can donate link below to make sure we receive or exceed our goal of $180,000 raised.
This has been a foundational year for us and broadening our experience on fundraising and sponsorship.
We appealed to our community about the need to grow the run and build on our recent success especially after a large decline in participation following a two-year Covid shut down which has taken years to recover from. We continue to grow the run and build on our recent success.
We have been working so hard to restore this long-standing Rotary tradition that supports children’s charities in our community.
Proceeds from the Classic Run support local organizations dedicated to helping young people, notably the Lansdowne Children’s Centre and the BGC Brantford (formerly known as Boys & Girls Club of Brantford).

In addition to all the sponsorship with companies and prominent residents supporting the run, this year we introduced a first responders cup where first responders in the Brantford community and surrounding area Brant as well as Six nations and Mississauga credit.
The goal was more participation and fundraising appealing to the public for supporting thier favorite first responder by donating.  Also, counting to attract schools and corporate teams and we will be over 3x the amount of teams this year so we’re really happy with this!  Not only does it bring us closer as a community Brantford - Brant and Six nations but solidifies how together we can make drastic change.  President Brian Stephen stated we were going to be in a budget deficit, but everyone from Brantford Rotary stepped up to make this a stellar year.
