On Earth Day, 25 members from Area 3 clubs (Flamborough AM, Waterdown, Dundas and Dundas Sunrise) gathered for a cleanup of a tributary of Borers Creek, adjacent to Belmont Park in Waterdown (Hamilton, ON).Following our edition of the Great Lakes Cleanup, the group enjoyed social and mealtime.
The end results totaled 86 kg of garbage, 108 kg of scrap metal with a value of $27.50 that will be given to the 7090 Heritage Endowment Fund.
194 kg of waste was removed from the watercourse area.
