Ribfest

The Rotary Ribfest is one of our major fundraisers held every Civic Holiday weekend (first weekend in August) in Montebello Park, St. Catharines. The RibFest is built around seven "ribbers" from the US and Canada who sell thousands of pounds of ribs and chicken. Normally attendance is in the 40,000 to 50,000 range. A core committee of about twenty Rotarians take on roles such as Entertainment, Sponsorship, Site, Marketing and Promotion and Vendors. As this is one of the major fundraisers for our club, all Rotarians are asked to assist either before the event or as a volunteer at the event. This is a fun community event which raises the awareness of Rotary in the region and a substantial amount of money for our Rotary projects both locally & around the world.
