VOCATIONAL TRAINING TEAM PROJECT 2019-2020

Your District Vocational Training Team Committee is currently seeking proposals for a Vocational Training Team experience during the new Rotary year 2019 - 2020.

Vocational Training Teams offer participants the opportunity to use vocational skills to share best practices, help others, and improve quality of life.  You can follow activities from our last District VTT on Medical Industry and Practices in Brazil 4480 on Facebook at “VTT 7090 to Brazil 4480”

Your District 7090 Vocational Training Team Committee is proposing a $8,000 commitment as part of the District Grant Spending Plan proposal for the Rotary year 2019 - 2020. Any club or group of clubs, subject to the final selection of the team members and Rotarian team leader by the District Vocational Training Team (VTT) Committee, can champion this Vocational Training Team Grant.  The District (VTT) committee will liaise with the partner Rotary District/Club for itinerary details, commitments, and final reporting, etc.

Your club or group of club’s proposal should consider the following:

  • The area of focus for the VTT
  • Whether an in-bound or out-bound VTT
  • Your responsibility for accommodation and local travel
  • The itinerary
  • The duration of the visit, 2-3 weeks
  • The team composition. One Rotarian team leader with expertise in the area of focus, international experience, and general Rotary knowledge.  A maximum of three team members – Rotarians and non-Rotarians - with at least two years of professional experience in the designated area of focus
  • Timely identification and commitment of a partner Rotary District is required.

A Vocational Training Team Project Proposal form is attached for your submission.  It is also on the District Website at https://www.rotary7090.org/sitepage/vocational-training-teams

Kindly submit your proposal by no later than Monday July 22nd, 2019 to the attention of Dan Smith dsmith4416@gmail.com.

Thank you for your interest in our District 7090 Vocational Training Team experience.

Yours in Rotary,
Dan Smith, Chair
District 7090 VTT
