PREPARING FOR THE YEAR AHEAD

2021-22 RI President Shekhar Mehta announced his theme Serve to Change Lives during the opening general session of the virtual International Assembly, February 2021.  Likewise we will be learning the theme of Incoming President Jennifer E. Jones in the beginning of 2022 at the International Assembly.  For those of you who don't know, the International Assembly is where our Incoming Governor, Lisa Bishop, will receive training, much like your PETS, except fittingly - a little more intense.

District 7090's President Elect Training team are hard at work preparing an exciting and motivating series of seminar sessions (PETS) for 2022.  These bite-sized trainings are tailored for new and returning (encore) presidents.  Let's take a peek below at the tentative schedule they have planned for you.

  • PETS Fireside Chat with Incoming Governor, Lisa Bishop: January 15, 2022, 7:00- 8:00 p.m.

  • PETS Session 1: January 27, 2022, 6:45 - 8:45 p.m.

  • PETS Session 2: February 24, 2022, 6:45 – 8:45 p.m.

  • PETS Session 3: March 31, 2022, 6:45 – 8:45 p.m.

  • PETS Session 4: April 28, 2022, 6:45 – 8:45 p.m.

Club/District Training Assembly:  ALL Presidents-Elect: Saturday, May 7, 2022  (time to be determined) Plan to bring your club members with you to this all virtual (perhaps hybrid) assembly - especially your leadership team.

The PETS Training Team invites you to check out our Rotary Club Central Toolbox page on this website with tools to get you familiar with Rotary International's Rotary Club Central.  Our RCC team has developed files and videos to walk you through the process.  The more familiar you become, the easier it will be to use them once you have determined what your club goals will be for 2022 - 2023, your year as Club President.

As reinforced with the online and face to face trainings, the more preparation you make toward your upcoming year of service, the more fluid and successful your leadership year will be.
