The Committee is responsible for supporting initiatives which foster and recognize positive educational and life-skill leadership experiences for young adults. The priorities are in keeping with the goals of our local club, District goals and International goals for fostering young leaders. Specific projects may include: Slapshot, Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA), Rotary Medalists, Adventures in Citizenship and possible Rotaract or Interact start-up assistance. The majority of projects require hands-on involvement by our Rotarians. This committee is also responsible for Youth Exchange, selects our outgoing students and hosts incoming students. Typically our club sends and receives one student per year. The committee works with the club and the district to coordinate the activities: orientation weekend, winter weekends, etc. In-students are registered in school, and welcomed and hosted by the club.
